    Julie’s approach is collaborative and client-centred, meaning she works alongside you to identify what matters most. Rather than applying a single method, she draws on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your needs. These may include talking therapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, or psychoeducation, depending on what feels most helpful.

    The first session offers an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to counselling and what you hope to gain from it. From there, Julie will work with you to decide on the most appropriate way forward. Some people attend a few sessions to work through a specific concern, while others prefer longer-term support. You’re encouraged to guide the pace and depth of the work according to what feels right for you.
